Tia Williams is an American novelist and editor known for her published books such as "Accidental Diva," "The Perfect Find," and her recent book, "Seven Days in June." The 46-year-old's new book explores second chances at love with tidbits of herself with a little added spice.
Tia Williams' "The Perfect Find" is also special for her, not just because it raked readers from around the world, but it's being turned into a movie. Tia confirmed the production started in June 2021; she added, "When I wrote 'The Perfect Find,' I was picturing it as I write with a cinematic style. So I am beyond excited to see it come to life on screen with the casting, the setting, set design, and all of it."
While she was in an interview with Ebony, she revealed how the idea for "Seven Days in June" came to be and a few personal things about her life. Tia Williams said she got the idea for the book after watching "Romeo and Juliet." Do Soulmates have an expiration date? This very question inspired her to write a big decade-spanning romance.
Tia also revealed she met her current husband halfway through writing "Seven Days in June," which slightly changed its vibe. Williams said,
"Since I started, we've become a little family similar to the way that the characters do in the book. You learn to reconfigure and re-adapt after being used to one dynamic your whole life and opening up to another."
"When my then-boyfriend and now-husband first started visiting, I wanted him and my daughter to forge a relationship, but it was awkward and weird at first. This adaptation of love definitely went into the book."
Since Williams mentioned her husband while she shared some exciting things about the book, we were curious to know more about her man. So, who is Tia Williams' husband? Let's find out.
