HBO premiered season 2 of Euphoria on January 9, 2022. The show, so far, has been well-received by the viewers. Episode 3 is trending all over the internet as the viewers get to see the moment between Young Derek (played by Henry Eikenberry) and Young Cal (played by Elias Kacavas).

The best friends kissed on graduation night; as one fan put it, "young Cal dancing and then kissing with Derek to "Never Tear Us Apart" being the cutest and saddest thing ever." Indeed, it was, but the two friends get back to their previous life when Cal receives a call from his then-girlfriend and now wife, Marsha, saying she is pregnant.

Euphoria Season 2 Episode 3 (Cal as a Teenager)

Euphoria Season 2 Episode 3 explores the teenagehood of Cal; Apparently, Cal was in love with his best friend, Derek. Cal suppresses his feelings for his friend throughout his adolescence, but the two kiss on graduation night.

Half away through the episode, Cal wakes up happy that he finally told Derek how he feels about him and kissed him too. Unfortunately, his happiness is momentary as the second he wakes, Cal gets a call from his then-girlfriend and now wife, Marsha, who tells him that she was pregnant.
